Good article on computer (endpoint) security
If you are interested in computer security you may wish to give this article a read.

While browsing through the many blogs and newsletters I receive each morning I came across a well-written article by Check Point called Six Essentials to Total Endpoint Security. The article is a bit longish, perhaps a 10 minute read, and gives a good overview of concerns and data security threats in the business environment. It covers the high points of malware protection, securing portable data devices like laptops and PDA, discusses the varied malware points of entry and why they need to be protected. A worthy article for the I.T. Manager or Systems Administrator that is well-written and structured clearly, using common terms so the average Joe can read it and understand.

Personally I am very concerned about data security, especially since I am responsible for maintaining the data security and backup systems for my employer. The Check Point article “talked to me” and was a good refresher about things I need to be monitoring.
