Site redevelopment: Edgewood Maryland
After a few years of inactivity I am redesigning the Town of Edgewood Maryland website. It will be a lot of work but hopefully people will find it useful. Time is at a premium for me these days so this project may take a while. Writing content, especially doing it objectively, should be interesting.
The concept is simple - a site written by an actual Edgewood native, for the people of Edgewood. A Google search for Edgewood returns a bucket load of for-profit web directories, lodging affiliate links, travel tickets, and a bunch of other irrelevant stuff. Except for some offering actual information, typically demographics or weather, for the most part these sites are little more than glorified link farms.
Since Edgewood is not an incorporated town, and has little localized leadership or planning groups, hopefully we can at least represent ourselves on the web.
